A one month long exhibit at The Front Gallery in New Orleans.
The exhibit included an experimental video component titled—
When The Oyster Becomes Your World.
The story is told through choreography and offers a glimpse into the future, when humans are so far gone in their destruction of the Earth that the water spirits are forced to intervene. We focus on a group of Black, gender expansive people who are naturally equipped to adapt their bodies to their needs.
The installation as a whole explores the possibility of human life after we inevitably have to surrender to the elements.
